The MG Cyberster has added a feather to its cap ahead of the upcoming India launch, with the fastest 0-100km/h acceleration in under 3.2 seconds at Sambhar Salt Lake in Rajasthan. Mira Erda, India’s first female Formula 4 international racer, was driving this landmark triumph. The record has been officially acknowledged and verified by both the Asia Book of Records and the India Book of Records. While the exact launch date is yet to be confirmed, the two-door sports cabriolet is expected to hit Indian shores soon, with an anticipated price range of Rs 60 lakh to Rs 70 lakh (ex-showroom). While it won’t face direct competition in its segment, the MG Cyberster will serve as an alternative to the BMW Z4. It will be sold through MG’s new MG Select retail channel in India.
