MG Motor launched the Comet EV, its second electric car in the Indian market following the ZS EV. The new electric vehicle is more economical than the Tata Tiago EV and is optimised for city driving. This is the lone area where the two models differ and must fight for the same Indian market share. MG claims that its telescopic steering wheel and tight turning radius of only 4.2 metres make it a great choice for city commuters who often encounter traffic jams. For those who are unaware, it is based on the Wuling Air EV, which is sold in Indonesia and follows the BICO (Big Inside, Compact Outside) design philosophy. The Comet EV is produced in the company's Halol, Gujarat facility. Today, we compare the new MG Comet to the Tata Tiago EV in terms of their respective features and prices.
