MG Motor India has officially teased the twin-display setup for the Comet EV in India. The upcoming compact EV is set to debut in the country on April 19. According to the official teaser, a 10.25-inch instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system make up the twin display setup on the Comet EV. The infotainment system on the left includes widgets of various sizes and three completely customisable pages for customers to create the user interface to suit their preferences. The device will have connectivity, entertainment, and navigation. To make it simple for drivers to access certain features without being distracted, the infotainment system will also have features like voice commands.
MG Comet EV: What the New Teaser Reveals?
According to the recent teaser, a single-piece screen, which houses a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital instrument console, will be part of the dashboard on the soon-to-debut MG Comet EV. As already mentioned, the infotainment system will feature widgets of various sizes and three completely customizable pages to offer customers access to several entertainment, navigation, and connectivity options. It will also support the voice-control feature. Inside, the EV also gets an iPod-inspired twin-spoke multi-function steering wheel.

MG Comet EV: Interior
A few days ago, the interior of the EV, was teased ahead of its debut in the market. According to the teaser, a two-spoke steering wheel will have two control sets on each side. The multi-purpose circular buttons on the wheel are similar to Apple's iPod. They'll likely be used for audio playback and voice commands for the infotainment system. Moreover, the dashboard has a dual-screen setup with two 10.25-inch panels. Two horizontal AC vents and rotary air conditioning controls with chrome accents are located under the screen.
MG Comet EV: Dimensions & Powertrain
In terms of dimensions, the EV is expected to be 2,974mm long, 1,631mm tall, and 1,505mm wide. It will have a 2,010mm wheelbase. Mechanically, the upcoming EV is likely to get 17.3kWh and 26.7kWh battery packs. The battery will be mated to an electric motor, capable of churning out around 45bhp and 50bhp of power and 90Nm and 110Nm of peak torque.

MG Comet EV: Price
The price of the upcoming electric four-seater is yet to be announced; however, market reports suggest that it will cost between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 15 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.
