This latest price hike follows an upward price revision of the MG Astor in April 2024. The SUV is available in five variants –Sprint, Shine, Select, Sharp Pro, and Savvy Pro – each of which is available in various colour options such as Starry Black, Candy White, Glaze Red, Aurora Silver, Havana Grey, and Candy White with a Starry Black roof.
Under the hood, the MG Astor gets either a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated (NA) petrol mill or a 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol engine. The former delivers 108bhp and 144Nm of torque, while the latter produces 138bhp and 220Nm of torque. The Astor is available with three transmission options: a five-speed manual, a CVT, and a six-speed torque converter unit. At its pricing, the MG Astor faces competition from models such as the Hyundai Creta and the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
