The Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series, touted as the brand’s sportiest model, has finally arrived on the shores with a price tag of Rs 4.20 crore (ex-showroom). The two-door convertible, which debuted globally last year, is available in two colour options—white and red—each highlighted with a bold contrasting black hue on the hood. It is based on the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 platform and has several comfort-oriented upgrades, including a re-tuned AMG V8 engine for smoother power delivery and an elevated driving experience. In our market, the Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series will compete against models like the Porsche 911, the Lotus Emira, and the Audi RS e-tron GT.

The dashboard houses a large 11.9-inch vertically oriented infotainment touchscreen, paired with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. Other premium touches include satin silver accents on the air vents, distinctive Maybach branding on the roll hoops, and a newly designed three-spoke steering wheel.
