Mercedes launched a special edition of its C-Class called the Edition C. For Mercedes, the special edition is all about celebrating the success of the C-Class and having sold 10 million units of it is an apt reason. The german company has already sold more than 2.3 million units of this 4th generation model.

Based on the C220 CDI, the Edition C, gets a special AMG styling kit, smoked headlamps and a set of new alloys. The grille also gets a unique design and there are Edition C badges on the sides. It comes powered by the 2.2-litre turbo diesel unit which churns out 167bhp and it comes mated to a seven speed automatic gearbox.

The interiors get special Alacantra and leather finish with blue contrast stitching. The dash gets silver inserts instead of wood.

Only 500 will be produced and Mercedes has priced it at Rs. 39.16 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai).
