Mercedes-Benz has rolled out the 2016 E-Class in India, giving the luxury sedan a stew of new equipment. The E-Class is Mercedes’ best seller in the sub-continent, with over 30,000 units on Indian roads.

The 2016 E-Class comes equipped with Audio 20 Telematics infotainment system that offers internet capability, bluetooth connectivity , radio and CD player. Navigation is powered by Garmin MAP PILOT which saves data on a SD memory card.

Among other updates, a rear camera has been added as a standard feature to facilitate comfortable reverse parking and manoeuvring

Mr. Eberhard Kern, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India commented on the introduction of the MY 16 E-Class, “The E-Class remains our highest selling luxury sedan in India and with the introduction of the refreshed MY 16 E-Class, we offer our discerning customers additional value in form of enhanced equipment. We are confident; with the MY 16 E-Class we will continue to consolidate our lead in the segment.”

The entry level variant of the Mercedes E-Class - E200 - is priced at Rs 48.5 lakh, while the top end E 350 CDI variant will set you back by Rs 59.90 lakh. The mid-range model - E250 CDI - on the other hand, is available at a price tag of Rs 50.70 lakh. All prices ex-showroom, Delhi.
