Mercedes-Benz has launched a special edition of its C-Class saloon, dubbed C-Class Edition C.
The Edition C gets a host of aesthetic upgrades to differentiate it from the regular C-Class. On the outside, the special edition comes in an all-new shade of Hyacinth red. Additionally, the model also gets front apron spoiler lip & rear spoiler painted in black, twin spoke alloy wheels painted in high-gloss black with a high-sheen finish, ‘Edition C’ exterior badge, LED Mercedes-Benz logo projector for front doors, and a ‘Night Package’ - that includes front twin louvres, mirror housings, beltline and side skirts painted in black.
On the inside, the C-Class Edition C features interior cabin with open-pore black ash wood trim finish, sports pedal in stainless steel with embossed rubber studs, and a Garmin Map Pilot navigation system as standard. Mechanically, the Edition C remains identical to standard C-Class models, and is offered with a choice of one petrol and two diesel engines.
On the C-Class Edition C launch, Roland Folger, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India said, “At Mercedes-Benz, it remains our endeavour to always keep the customers excited and offer them a fresh product portfolio. Be it latest introductions from our global portfolio, mid-life facelifts or upgrades of existing models, our regular product interventions keep our portfolio new and customers intrigued. The C-Class had been a spectacular success story in the Indian market and has sold over 27,500 units since its debut in India. We are confident that the ‘Edition C’ will retain its top billing and discerning customers will find a lot of value in the product”.
The C-Class Edition C is priced at Rs. 42.54 lakh for the C 200, Rs. 43.54 lakh for the C 200 d, and Rs. 46.87 lakh for the C 250 d models.
