The German carmaker today launched three of its luxury cars in India which also stand out in terms of performance. Two models out of the three belong to the highly-worshipped AMG family – AMG S 63 and AMG G 63 – where the third car is the S 500 Coupe.

Keeping up with the promise of ‘15 in 15’ Mercedes-Benz launched, in what is seemed to be an aggressive move by the German carmaker, three premium cars in the Indian market today. The three cars launched – AMG S 63, AMG G 63 and S 500 Coupe – offer features like no other and will attract different target groups based on their personal driving styles.

The pinnacle of luxury – the S 500 Coupe – will now celebrate your presence in a truly unique manner. The car will now be optionally available with LED high performance headlamps which feature 94 Swarovski Crystals. The daytime running lamps will be now studded with 34 angular crystals. 60 round-shaped crystals will help the turn indicator lamps glow even brighter than usual. The car will be powered by a 4,663cc, V8 engine which will churn out a maximum power of 455bhp and 700Nm of torque. Safety features include things like Pre-Safe, Brake Assist, Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus and Night View Assist Plus.

The AMG S 63 has moved an inch closer to the thin line between sheer performance and sensuous design. The car will accelerate from zero to 100km/h in sheer 4.2 seconds with a top speed of 250km/h. The new car weighs 65kgs lesser than the previous generation. The power is delivered by the 5.5-litre, V8 biturbo engine, that delivers 577bhp and 900Nm of torque, with the help of the 7-speed AMG Speedshift transmission. The driver will be able to choose from three driving modes available – Controlled Efficiency, Sport and Manual.

The highlight of the trio was the AMG G63 ‘Crazy Colour’ Edition which was Mercedes_Benz’s way of celebrating 35 glorious years of G Wagon’s existence. This new edition of the G 63 will be available in three interesting colour schemes – Solar Beam, Sunset Beam and Alien Green – to make it more distinctive and personal.

The prices of the three models are as listed:
