Our international partner Quattroroute has spotted the upcoming Coupe version of Mercedes-Benz’s GLC SUV. This will be the second Coupe styled SUV from Mercedes-Benz after the GLE Coupe. The Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe is also scheduled to bring a face-lift for the GLC model range in the form of revised front and rear bumpers, a larger and more bold front grille along with new LED headlamps and tail lamps. This upcoming GLC Coupe spied testing features full LED headlamps that have a new light signature with a pair of stripes that highlight the structure of the lamps themselves.
The interiors of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe will also be brought up to date with an all-digital instrument cluster, a larger infotainment system screen, there will be a touchpad to use the infotainment system which will be integrated to the centre console. Of course, the interiors of the car will be revised as well.
The German luxury car brigade seems to be quite caught up right now with the concept of Coupe styled SUVs and Mercedes-Benz’s GLC Coupe will take BMW’s X4 Coupe head-on when it hits the market.
While there are no details about the GLC Coupe’s powertrains, expect the current crop of petrol engines to do duty under the bonnet here. Although, the new 2.0 litre, turbo diesel engine that has been fitted to the updated C-Class could find its way for application in the face-lifted GLC range as well. This unit is capable of developing 194 horsepower and 400Nm of torque.
