Mercedes-Benz GLA, AMG GLE 53 Coupe Facelifts: Appearance
The GLA facelift, which will probably be released in 200 and 220d variants, has several minor changes over the previous model. The design upgrades in the firm's entry-level SUV, unveiled globally in May last year, focus mostly on the front end, with body-coloured wheel arches replacing the previous black plastic embellishments. Other styling cues include a revamped front grille, new LED headlamps with a new-pattern LED DRL, reworked bumpers, redesigned LED tail lights, and new alloy wheels.
The AMG GLE 53 Coupe made its debut almost a year ago. The SUV coupe's flowing roofline is visible at the sides and rear, but the front ends of the GLE and GLE Coupe are almost identical in terms of style. Like its pre-facelift predecessor, the GLE Coupe for India will only be offered in the 53 AMG variant.
Mercedes-Benz GLA, AMG GLE 53 Coupe Facelifts: Interior
With the most recent Mercedes steering wheels with touch controls, the interior of the facelifted GLA will see somewhat more substantial practical improvements. Although the central console will be modified and will no longer have the huge trackpad, it currently has integrated 10.25-inch screens for the infotainment and driver's display. On top of that, features like wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 360-degree camera, interior ambient lighting, and other cabin updates are all part of the GLA facelift.
With a few small tweaks and feature enhancements over the previous generation, the overall alterations to the look and cabin of the GLE 53 Coupe facelift will be the same as those seen on the standard GLE facelift.
Mercedes-Benz GLA, AMG GLE 53 Coupe Facelifts: Powertrain
Coming to the mechanical components, the 2024 GLA will continue to offer the same choices for powertrains as its predecessor. It is still propelled by a 2.0-litre diesel mill that generates 187bhp of maximum power and 320Nm of peak torque and a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 160bhp and 270Nm of torque. The diesel model has an eight-speed automatic transmission, while the petrol version is mated to a seven-speed DCT. In the international market, the Mercedes car is available with a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, a 2.0-litre diesel mill, and a 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol engine.
The AMG GLE 53 Coupe's powerful 3.0-litre turbo-petrol engine produces 429bhp of peak power, and a 48-volt mild hybrid system adds another 22bhp. The remarkable 5.3-second 0 to 100km/h acceleration time of the pre-facelift model is anticipated to be maintained, along with the nine-speed automatic transmission and 4Matic AWD system.

Mercedes-Benz GLA, AMG GLE 53 Coupe Facelifts: Competition Check
The 2024 version of the Mercedes-Benz GLA is expected to carry a price tag falling between Rs 49 lakh and Rs 54 lakh, which is a premium over the current model. The AMG GLE 53 Coupe, on the other hand, is anticipated to retail for over Rs 1 crore. All mentioned figures are ex-showroom prices.
