Mercedes-Benz has revealed its fourth electric vehicle – the EQA – for India. While the pricing of the model will be announced on July 8, the company has revealed the specifications of the upcoming electric vehicle. Based on the GLA SUV, the Mercedes-Benz EQA electric crossover will go on sale in a single variant – the long-range EQA 250+. At launch, the EQA will be positioned below the 7-seater EQB SUV in the company's India line-up.
While the international-spec EQA is offered in four variants – EQA 250, EQA 250+, EQA 300 4Matic, and EQA 350 4Matic, the India-spec Mercedes-Benz model will be available only in a 250+ variant. That variant will be equipped with a 70.5 kWh battery pack sending power to a front axle-mounted electric motor (188bhp/385Nm). With these numbers, the electric crossover can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in a claimed time of 8.6 seconds, while the battery will yield a WLTP-rated range of up to 560km.
