Mercedes Benz is all set to launch the diesel engine-equipped B-class tomorrow. Mercedes has started-off on the right foot this quarter and have already launched 2 new cars – The A-Class and the E-Class. This will be the 3rd car in the Mercedes product line-up for this year.

The B-Class diesel variant will be powered by a 2.2-litre B180 CDI engine. This engine will boast of 107bhp and will be mated to a 7-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission with two drive options – Sport and Manual.

Just like its petrol cousin, the B180 CDI will come with some standard features like leather upholstery, seven airbags, COMAND interface for media connectivity. Of course there are some changes that have been made to the standard equipment list on the diesel. It doesn’t carry forward everything from the petrol variant.
