Mercedes-Benz has expanded their Cloud based app network the to the S-Class, GL-Class, ML-Class as well as all AMG models.

The in-house app network allows buyers to access to a wide range of popular apps and services on the internet. These include TuneIn Radio, Weather, News, RSS newsfeed, HRS Hotel Search and MorningStar Finance. In addition, the in-built browser offers unrestricted access to your favourite websites.

These apps can be accessed via any Bluetooth tethered smartphone, including those running on Apple’s iOS, Android, Blackberry and Windows.

Speaking about the app, Eberhard Kern, Managing Director, Mercedes-Benz India said: “We at Mercedes-Benz have always strived to bring the best in modern luxury and latest technology for our customers. The introduction of the Mercedes-Benz Apps is yet another initiative towards this direction. We are confident that the Mercedes-Benz Apps will delight our customers and will not only be a standard offering for our new cars, but also for all our existing customers who have COMAND Online system in their cars. This reiterates our commitment of offering the best ownership experience for our customers”.

The Mercedes app network was previously restricted to the E-Class Cabriolet and CLS 250 CDI.
