Not much is known about McLaren's upcoming product launch, but we do know for sure that the new mid-range super sports car from the British car maker will be called the 650S. We also know that the new Mclaren will be launched at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show and that it will be positioned between the 12C and the P1. We also know that the 650S will be lighter and smaller than the 12C so as to offer a thrilling driving experience. McLaren themselves have said that the car has been designed and developed to offer the enthusiast driver the ultimate in luxury, engagement and excitement.

Many sources are speculating the price and specifications of the upcoming 650C, but we can only guess that it will have more things in common with the 12C and not the ultra-expensive P1. We also suspect that the new 650S will come fitted with the car maker's famous twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 engine, which will probably develop 650bhp. We can also expect the car to do a 0-100km/h dash in under 4 seconds and reach speeds in excess of 290km/h.

All we can do for now is speculate, but do check back with us as we find out more about the upcoming McLaren 650S.
