Italian luxury car maker Maserati will showcase the Alfieri concept vehicle at the Dubai Motor Show next month. Bearing the name of one of the Maserati brothers, Alfieri is being hailed as archetypal for the future design DNA of the car company.
Maserati engineers have taken inspiration from the 1954 A6 GCS-53 model while designing this concept 2+2 sedan. It is characterised by its long, low nose, the signature Maserati grille, aggressive headlamps and the characteristic triple air ducts on the wheels arches. Inside, efforts have been made to give Alfieri a simple and uncluttered look, while ensuring it remains feature-rich.
The 2015 Dubai International Motor Show is scheduled between November 10th to 14th at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Maserati returned to India this year, operating out of parent company Fiat Chrysler. It currently sells four models in this country, under the Ghibli and Quattroporte monikers.
