The 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol comes in two states of tune – 345bhp and 500Nm, and 424bhp and 580Nm. The Levante, Ghibli as well as the Quattroporte will now be on sale with both these engine configurations
Maserati has now introduced V6 petrol variants to the Ghibli, Quattroporte and the Levante. These 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol trims will come in two states of tune – 345bhp and 424bhp. Torque rating for both these versions stand at 500Nm and 580Nm. This engine has been designed by Maserati but manufactured at the Ferrari plant in Maranello. Considering that this engine is Euro 6 compliant, it will easily be in line with the upcoming BS-VI norms. Just like the 3.0-litre diesel, this one too will be mated ZF-sourced 8-speed automatic.

Aside from the engine, all three cars now get a redesigned gear shift lever – even in the diesel variants. Maserati claims that it makes the shift action shorter and more intuitive. Other changes include two new gloss veneer options for the Ghibli and Quattroporte and three new veneers for the Levante. Maserati offers a choice of 10 colour options for the Quattroporte and 11 for the Ghibli and Levante. The Italian luxury carmaker has also added five new 20-and 21-inch - two for each of the Levante and Quattroporte models and one for the Ghibli.

The Quattroporte is also on sale with a V6 diesel motor and it is priced in the Rs 1.67 crore to Rs 1.79 crore range. The GTS trim of the Quattroporte with the Ferrari-built V8 petrol carries a sticker price of Rs 2.51 crore for the GranLusso and Rs 2.49 crore for the GranSport. The Glibli and the Levante are also offered in diesel st starting prices of Rs 1.33 crore and Rs 1.45 crore respectively.
