First shown at the 2020 Auto Expo, the new Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza facelift has finally gone on sale, with ex-showroom prices ranging from ₹7.34 lakh to ₹11.40 lakh.
Maruti Suzuki has launched the 2020 Vitara Brezza facelift at ₹7.34 lakh for the entry-level non-hybrid Lxi variant. The top-spec Zxi+ (AT) dual-tone variant is priced at ₹11.40 lakh. Available with Smart Hybrid tech as well, the 2020 Vitara Brezza's hybrid range is priced between ₹9.75 lakh & ₹11.15 lakh. All figures are ex-showroom, Delhi. In comparison, the new prices start lower by about ₹29,000 and end higher by about ₹80,000 compared to the old Brezza's prices.
With the mandatory BS-VI update, the Vitara Brezza ditches the old Fiat-sourced diesel motor for Maruti's 1.5-litre K-Series petrol motor (which is also available with the Smart Hybrid setup). While the power specifications are yet to be revealed (likely to be the same as the Ciaz - 103bhp & 138Nm), what we do know is that the new Brezza now comes with a 4-speed torque converter automatic in exchange for the diesel Brezza's AMT gearbox.
