The Maruti Suzuki Swift is available in India with a special Thrill Chaser accessory pack for Rs 30,000. This is one of the two accessory packages introduced at the launch of the new-generation Swift on May 9. The Racing Roadster pack, which costs Rs 30,000, is the other one. Talking about the exterior, the kit includes components for the doors, hood, mirrors, bumpers, door visors, and window frames. Meanwhile, the carmaker has added elements for the dashboard, centre console, seats, doors, and a unique Thrill Chaser key cover inside. It is important to note that the mechanical configuration of the model stays the same. Interested customers can get the package installed at any nearest dealership or order online via Maruti Suzuki's website.

New Maruti Suzuki Swift: Exterior and Interior Updates
Maruti Suzuki rolled out the 2024 iteration of the Swift a few days back at a starting price of Rs 6.49 lakh (base-spec LXi MT variant). The top-spec variant (ZXi+ Dual Tone AMT) is priced at Rs 9.65 lakh. Both mentioned prices are ex-showroom. It is available in a total of five variants: LXi, VXi, VXi (O), ZXi, and ZXi+.
While keeping its iconic look, the next-generation Maruti Suzuki Swift receives some obvious outward and interior design improvements. It has a sleek black grille, diamond-cut alloy wheels, LED fog lights, projector headlights, LED DRLs, a new front and rear bumper, a 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen, and cruise control. The hatch features a revised instrument console with asymmetric dials, an all-black surface, and Satin Matte Silver inlays. In terms of dimensions, the new Swift is 30mm taller, 15mm longer, and 40mm narrower than its predecessor, yet it still has the same 2,450mm wheelbase.
New Maruti Suzuki Swift: Powertrain Options
The 2024 Swift's mechanical prowess comes from a brand-new Z-Series 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine. This unit has a maximum power output of 80bhp and a peak torque of 113Nm. A five-speed MT and a five-speed AMT are the available transmission options.
As far as the mileage figures are concerned, the five-speed manual Swift is claimed to achieve 24.80km/l. The five-speed automatic variant, on the other hand, is expected to return 25.75km/l.
New Maruti Suzuki Swift: Safety Features
While the outgoing model offered only dual airbags, even on higher variants, the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift comes equipped with six airbags as standard equipment on all variants, along with hill start assist and electronic stability control (ESC).

New Maruti Suzuki Swift: Rivals
Bookings for the new Swift are currently open for a token amount of Rs 11,000. In the Indian market, the hatchback competes with models such as the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios and Tata Tiago.
