New Maruti Suzuki Swift
The fourth-generation Maruti Suzuki Swift gets major updates in terms of its exterior, interior, features, and drivetrain. The new iteration appears more upright than the outgoing model. The current generation's angular headlamps have also been adjusted, and the bonnet line seems higher than the third-generation version. The model's length has increased along the sides by the broad shoulder line, and the glasshouse is also slightly redesigned. The door handles are back to their original positions on the rear door, which now features a new rear quarter glass.
The new Z-Series 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine, which has already made its international debut, will replace the current K-Series petrol unit. The power and torque output stand at 89bhp and 113Nm, respectively. On the other hand, the global-spec model produces 82bhp of maximum power and 112Nm of peak torque. In addition to Maruti Suzuki's SHVS mild-hybrid technology, the engine should be offered with either a manual or an automatic gearbox.
An extensive feature list will make the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Swift an impressive product. The hatchback comes equipped with a 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an Arkamys sound system, rear air conditioning vents, a wireless charger, and A and C-type USB connectors. The safety suite includes six airbags, LED fog lights, three-point seatbelts for the back seat, an anti-lock braking system (ABS), and electronic stability control (ESP).
