With the new mobile terminal, Maruti Suzuki aims to take the NEXA experience to potential customers in regions where the NEXA infrastructure is missing.
With an aim to increase its presence in the country even further, Maruti Suzuki has announced the flag-off of its first-ever 'mobile' NEXA terminal, which is essentially a mini-NEXA showroom on wheels. The mobile terminal will tour across the country, to destinations and regions where the 'Maruti Suzuki' name is familiar but due to infrastructural shortfalls, NEXA dealerships have not been able to reach. Further, the mobile terminal will offer a basic setup common to any NEXA dealership and, as seen in the image, will also have a model on display.
Speaking about NEXA's outreach, Mr Shashank Srivastava, Executive Director (Marketing & Sales) at Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. said, 'In less than 4 years of its launch, NEXA has rapidly grown to become the most successful premium retail network in India and contributes over 20% to our total sales. In this short span of time, we have set up over 360 NEXA outlets covering more than 200 cities and added over 9 lakh happy NEXA customers. This mobile NEXA terminal will help us to connect with customers in geographies where NEXA outlets are currently not present.'
Launched in 2015, Maruti Suzuki came up with the NEXA dealerships as a 'premium' retail offering from the homegrown carmaker. At present, the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross, Baleno, Ignis and the Ciaz are sold through NEXA dealerships across India.
