The front end of the Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5-door variant will be almost identical to that of its 3-door sibling, except for a few expected cosmetic modifications.
The Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5-door has been reportedly undergoing final testing without any camouflage. The much-awaited car was spotted in its final production form in Leh, Ladakh. The spy shots revealed that the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5-door gets a longer wheelbase, two more doors, and a larger bodyshell. It will measure 3,850mm in length, 1,645mm in width, and 1,730mm in height. While the width and height remain the same, it is now 300mm longer than the 3-door Jimny. Both the front and rear tracks are still 1,395mm and 1,405mm, respectively.

The Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5-door will have the same side-opening door with exposed hinges, a door-mounted spare tyre with a black covering, and the same rear bumper and taillamp design as its 3-door counterpart. It was spotted in its well-known 'Kinetic Yellow' exterior paint scheme.
We informed you earlier that the upcoming Jimny 5-door will continue to use the K15B engine. Maruti Suzuki will offer the India-spec model with either a four-speed automatic or a five-speed manual transmission option. Only a 5-speed manual transmission and a 4X4 transfer case are available globally.

The Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5-door is highly anticipated to be the showstopper for the Maruti Suzuki in the upcoming Auto Expo. It is most likely to cost between Rs10 lakh ((ex-showroom) and Rs.15 lakh (ex-showroom), similar to the Maruti Suzuki Brezza.
