Maruti Suzuki will launch the MPV Invicto on July 5. Ahead of the official market introduction, the firm has teased the model, showing a glimpse of the front fascia. For starters, the upcoming MPV from the stable of Maruti Suzuki will be based on the Toyota Innova Hycross. According to the latest official teaser, the MPV gets a new grille, which differs from Toyota's version. The grille is flanked by LED headlamps. The teaser also displays Invicto's silhouette in the side profile, the Invicto moniker on the tailboard, and ventilated front seats with black leatherette upholstery. Speaking of the rear, Maruti Suzuki maintained most details secret, but industry reports suggest that significant modifications are doubtful, and the new model will be almost similar to its Japanese sibling. The MPV from the house of Maruti Suzuki will use the TNGA platform of Toyota. Mechanical specifications are still under wraps, but, the new MPV will likely get the powertrain choices as its Japanese twin, which includes 2.0-litre petrol available in naturally-aspirated and hybrid options. In a recent development, several speculations are doing rounds on the internet that the new MPV will have only a single, fully-loaded variant named the Alpha. If we go by these rumours, this variant will have a 2.0-litre petrol-hybrid engine, married to an e-CVT gearbox.

Along with the new grille, the teaser displayed the MPV sporting LED headlights with dual pods. It also gave a glimpse of a side profile of the Invicto, the Invicto emblem, and ventilated front seats with black leatherette upholstery. Also, inside, the MPV will presumably feature a free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, a motorised driver seat, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, and more.

The all-new MPV will arrive in the country on July 5. After the launch, it will compete with the Mahindra Scorpio N, the Kia Carnival, Hyundai Alcazar, and other vehicles.
