Maruti Suzuki Invicto MPV Bookings Begin for Rs 25,000 in India

Maruti Suzuki has started taking pre-orders for the upcoming Invicto MPV. Interested customers can book the MPV, which is based on the Toyota Innova Hycross, by paying a token amount of Rs 25,000.

The Maruti Suzuki Invicto MPV has been the talk of the town since its official announcement. It's a multipurpose car, which has long been speculated to be on the Toyota Innova Hycross. In a recent development, the leading automaker has started taking pre-orders for the new MPV at Rs 25,000. Bookings for the future Invicto MPV can be made at any dealership in the Nexa network or on the Maruti Suzuki website. The Toyota Innova Hycross-based MPV will be launched in our market on July 5. According to market estimations, it will cost more than Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom). In India, the all-new MPV will lock horns with the MG Hector Plus, Tata Safari, Kia Carnival, Mahindra XUV700, and others. Maruti Suzuki Invicto: Platform and Powertrain

The upcoming Maruti Suzuki Invicto will be built on Toyota's TNGA-C framework. A 2.0-litre strong-hybrid powertrain from the Hycross, capable of producing a maximum power of 183bhp, will power the new MPV and will be paired with the e-CVT gearbox. Additionally, the multipurpose vehicle's entry-level variants are likely to get a 2.0-litre gasoline engine, with a maximum power output of 173bhp, which will be mated to a CVT gearbox.

Maruti Suzuki Invicto: Exterior and Interior 

Design-wise, the Invicto and the Innova Hycross are likely to be the same. The Toyota logo will be changed to the brand's logo on the front grille in order to distinguish between the two. According to the previous spy photos, the all-new Maruti MPV will debut with a two-slat chrome grille, featuring a hexagonal mesh pattern. Broad air dams, low-mounted LED DRLs, and lower bumper mounting will continue to be the same. 

The Invicto's interior will also see a few alterations in terms of upholstery and features. Although the free-standing infotainment screen with wireless mobile connectivity and the dashboard design will likely be the same, the new MPV could get upgrades in the form of a 360-degree camera with front and rear parking sensors, motorised Ottoman captain chairs in the second row, ambient lighting, etc. According to recent market reports, it has been suggested that the MPV from Maruti Suzuki might not include certain Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) components or potentially even the entire set of ADAS features.

Maruti Suzuki Invicto: Bookings and Price

As mentioned, the carmaker has opened bookings for the new MPV at Rs 25,000. The upcoming MPV will be launched on July 5 and may have a price tag of more than Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. In terms of competition, the Maruti Suzuki Invicto will compete with the Kia Carnival, Hyundai Alcazar, Mahindra Scorpio N, and others.
