The Maruti Suzuki Fronx SUV made its world debut at the Auto Expo 2023 a few months ago, and it has now launched in the Indian market with prices ranging between Rs 7.47 lakh for the base Sigma variant and Rs 13.13 lakh for the high-spec Alpha turbo variant. Both prices are ex-showroom. For those unaware, in January this year, the leading automaker unveiled the brand-new Fronx and the off-roader Jimny 5-door. As soon as the Fronx SUV was officially unveiled, the company began accepting bookings for a token amount of Rs 11,000. Maruti Suzuki's Nexa dealership will sell the Fronx alongside the Ignis, the Baleno, the Ciaz, the XL6, and the Grand Vitara. The firm has stated that the Fronx, along with the Baleno, will be the Nexa's volume drivers. The carmaker hopes to provide customers with the new Fronx, a sporty vehicle with cutting-edge features and engine options. In India, the new Maruti Suzuki Fronx will face off against models like the Hyundai Venue, the Kia Sonet, as well as the Tata Nexon. Now that the eagerly-awaited Fronx is finally available in the market, let's know more about what it brings to the table.

The new Fronx is offered in seven colours—Arctic White, Earthern Brown, Opulent Red, Splendid Silver, Bluish Black, Celestial Blue, and Grandeur Grey—and five trims—Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta, and Alpha. The Fronx also incorporates some Baleno hatchback design cues into its exterior, such as the rising waistline, which has a noticeable hunch over the rear wheels, and the sloping roofline. It is comparable to the Baleno in terms of size at 3,995mm long, 1,550mm high, and 1,765mm wide.
