Maruti Suzuki India released a video that shows crash tests performed on its Fronx and Brezza SUV models. The video offers helpful insight into the Indian automaker's meticulous safety testing protocols. Although collision test ratings are not provided, Maruti Suzuki asserts that the evaluations were conducted for internal research purposes. These inspections include vehicles' ability to withstand severe real-life situations and destructive tests.
Crash test dummies were used in the video's depiction of the closed facility testing to evaluate the efficacy of the vehicle's crumple zones in frontal and side impacts, as well as other impacts. The automaker maintains that a thorough series of fifty accident tests were undertaken prior to the market debut of the models.
Several safety features are standard on the Maruti Suzuki Fronx. These include a speed alert system, dual airbags, anti-lock brakes (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), electronic stability programme (ESP), rear parking sensors, seatbelt pre-tensioners with load limits, and rear parking sensors. Additionally, a 360-degree camera, a reverse parking camera, side and curtain airbags, and an auto-dimming IRVM are available on select models.

Furthermore, it is worth noting that Global NCAP conducts comprehensive safety evaluations of Maruti Suzuki vehicles between 2022 and 2023. This organisation assessed a range of models, including the Swift, WagonR, S-Presso, Ignis, and Alto K10. In addition, the brand's models are expected to undergo testing by the indigenous Bharat New Car Assessment Programme (BNCAP), which will aid in the promotion of safer automobiles in the Indian market.
