The production-spec Maruti Suzuki eVX is set to make its global debut in January 2025 at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, which is scheduled to take place in New Delhi from January 17–22. The electric SUV was introduced as a concept at the 2023 Auto Expo and as a nearly production-ready model during this year's maiden Bharat Mobility Expo. With the launch set for Europe first, it is now ready to make its debut on Indian shores for the first time as a fully production-spec version. Though the Indo-Japanese automaker hasn't confirmed anything, the electrified model is expected to hit our streets in the first quarter of 2025. Maruti Suzuki eVX: Exterior and Interior
The production-spec electric SUV could borrow the majority of its design elements from the concept version, including a closed-off grille and a flat hood. It may also sport squared wheel arches, two-piece LED daytime running lights (DRLs), a sharkfin antenna, C-pillar-mounted rear door handles, and five-spoke alloy wheels. On the inside, the SUV is expected to feature a two-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, electrically adjustable front seats, an auto-dimming IRVM, a rotary dial for drive modes, horizontally positioned air conditioning vents, and a freestanding touchscreen infotainment system.
Maruti Suzuki eVX: Powertrain
The eVX is expected to have two battery options (45kWh and 60kWh) and a range of up to 550 kilometres on a single charge. Moreover, it could come with an option between a dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) system and a single-motor FWD system. The electric SUV will be built on the company's new skateboard platform, which will likely lead to a roomy interior.

Maruti Suzuki eVX: Expected Price and Market Competitors
In India, the eVX is expected to cost between Rs 18 lakh and Rs 25 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom). It will compete with several models in the EV segment, including the Mahindra XUV400, the Tata Nexon EV, and the Tata Curvv EV. While there is no formal announcement, Toyota will likely roll out a rebadged version of the eVX as part of the international partnership. If this turns out to be accurate, the Toyota SUV will make its debut following the launch of its Donor model (eVX) in India.
