In the electric vehicle market, Maruti Suzuki seems to be making great progress with the eVX presently being tested in India. It is anticipated that this electric SUV, which is scheduled for release in early 2025, will go up against the electrified Hyundai Creta. With its initial concept unveiling at this year's Auto Expo held in January, the Japanese auto giant's first electric offering started creating a buzz in the global markets. Later on, the car was spotted doing rounds on the streets of Poland and was displayed along with the new Swift at the 2023 Tokyo Motor Show in a nearly production-ready configuration. Meanwhile, several spy shots have emerged showing the EV being tested in India recently. The eVX SUV will be developed on a platform based on Toyota's 40PL electric skateboard architecture, internally codenamed 27PL, and will be manufactured at Maruti Suzuki's Gujarat plant. For now, let's take a look at what this much-anticipated model has in store for us.
