A camouflaged test mule of the Maruti Suzuki eVX has been spotted undergoing road tests in India, with an integrated ADAS sensor module visible on the front bumper. This suggests that the upcoming Maruti Suzuki EV may come equipped with an ADAS suite, although this has not yet been officially confirmed. Although the exact launch date is yet to be released, the eVX is expected to appear on the market by the end of 2024. It made its debut as a concept at the 2023 Auto Expo and was publicly revealed as a closer-to-production model at the 2023 Tokyo Motor Show. In comparison to the concept version, the fresh test model has a more subdued appearance with a conventional front grille. A high-positioned stop lamp, gunmetal-coloured multispoke alloy wheels, C-pillar mounted rear door handles, blind-spot monitors, and sweptback headlamps are among other noteworthy design features.
