Maruti Suzuki is yet to reveal the price of the Ertiga Limited Edition.
To clear the stocks of the outgoing Ertiga, Maruti Suzuki has released a Limited-Edition trim of the MPV in India.
The Ertiga Limited Edition gets certain exclusive aesthetic enhancements to differentiate it from the standard VXi/VDi model it’s based on. So, chrome accents for fog lamp surrounds, chrome side mouldings, Limited Edition badging on the tailgate and rear spoiler are some new additions.
There are also three new colour options to choose from – Silky Silver, Superior White and Exquisite Maroon. It also has alloy wheels unlike wheel covers on the equivalent standard trim. Inside, the cabin comes with tan seat and steering covers. Additionally, the dashboard now gets faux wooden accents.
Aside from this, the Ertiga continues to be powered by either a 1.4-litre petrol engine, making 94bhp and 130Nm, or a Fiat-sourced 1.3-litre diesel, which produces 89bhp and 200Nm. Both engines come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, whereas the petrol also gets the option of a 4-speed torque converter automatic.
The next-gen Ertiga, which was revealed very recently in Indonesia, is based on an all-new platform and looks a lot more upmarket than the current model. It also features a brand new 1.5-litre petrol engine, which might make it to India in future. We can expect Maruti to launch the new Ertiga in India around the 2018 festive season.
