The Maruti Suzuki Eeco has completed 15 years in India, solidifying its reputation as the country’s best-selling van. Since its launch in 2010, the Eeco has sold over 12 lakh units, with the S-CNG variants contributing to about 43% of the total. The remaining 57% of sales come from the petrol-only versions, reflecting a balanced appeal across different consumer needs. Despite having no significant updates over the years, the Eeco has maintained a strong presence in the market, a testament to its reliability and performance. A key driver of its continued success is its strong foothold in rural areas, where approximately 63% of its sales originate. In these regions, the Eeco proves its versatility by serving as an essential vehicle for businesses and cargo transportation. Its lasting appeal underscores Eeco’s significant role in both urban and rural markets, adapting to the needs of a wide range of users.
