The new-generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire has seen its first price increase of up to 10,000, almost three months after its launch in November last year. The starting price is now Rs 6.84 lakh, up from the previous Rs 6.79 lakh. Except for the ZXi+ with a manual transmission, the price hike applies to all variants of the sedan. The automatic variants of the VXi and ZXi are Rs 10,000 more expensive, while the VXi CNG MT, ZXi+ AMT, ZXi CNG MT, VXi MT, and LXi MT have all experienced a consistent price increase of Rs 5,000. Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Engine
The all-new Dzire has a 1.2-litre Z Series petrol engine that produces a maximum power output of 80bhp and a peak torque of 112Nm and is mated to a five-speed manual or an AMT transmission. It also comes with a CNG powertrain on select variants, producing 68bhp and 102Nm.

In terms of fuel efficiency, the manual version delivers 24.79km/l, while the automatic variant offers 25.71km/l. The CNG model provides a mileage of 33.73km/kg.
Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Features and More Details
The new Dzire offers a range of upgrades, such as a 9-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and wireless phone charging. It also has rear AC vents, Type-C charging ports, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), a 360-degree camera, and a sunroof. The sedan is the first-ever Maruti Suzuki to get a 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP.

The new Dzire is available in an appealing palette of seven colours, ranging from Bluish Black and Arctic White to Gallant Red, Splendid Silver, Nutmeg Brown, Magma Grey, and Alluring Blue. It measures 3,995mm in length, 1,735mm in width, and 1,525mm in height—10mm taller than the previous generation—and has a wheelbase of 2,450mm.
