Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) is offering a special edition of the Celerio, available until December 20, 2024, featuring accessories worth Rs 11,000. Starting at Rs. 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base model, this version includes visual enhancements like a body kit, chrome side moulding, a roof spoiler, two-tone door sill guards, and custom floor mats. No modifications have been made to the car’s features or mechanical setup; the changes are purely aesthetic. This limited edition focuses solely on design upgrades while maintaining the same specifications and performance as the standard model.

Maruti Suzuki Celerio: Powertrain Options
Under the hood, the Celerio is driven by a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, K10C DualJet petrol engine that delivers 65.7bhp of maximum power and 89Nm of peak torque. A CNG variant is also available, producing 56bhp and 82.1Nm of torque in CNG mode. The engine is paired with either a five-speed manual transmission or an AMT. The former version offers a claimed fuel efficiency of 25.24km/l, while the latter delivers 26.68km/l. The CNG option, meanwhile, delivers 34.43km/kg.
Maruti Suzuki Celerio: Feature Suite
Moving on to the cabin, the model features a modern dashboard design, steering-mounted audio controls, and a 7-inch SmartPlay Studio infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other notable features include a push start/stop button, AGS technology, and keyless entry. For safety, the Celerio is built on Maruti Suzuki's Heartect platform and comes with a hill hold assist, electronic stability programme (ESP), dual airbags, ABS with EBD, and reverse parking sensors.
Maruti Suzuki Celerio: Price and Rivals
The hatchback, currently in its second generation, is available in four variants: LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi Plus. The price of the base-spec variant starts at Rs 5.36 lakh and goes up to Rs 7.04 lakh. Both mentioned prices are ex-showroom figures.
