Maruti Suzuki India has launched the Alto K10 Tour H1 – a taxi version of the Alto K10 – for the commercial market. It's on sale in a single trim level with two engine options – a 1.0-litre Petrol and an S-CNG unit. The Alto K10 Tour H1 carries a starting price of Rs 4.80 lakh for the standard petrol version, which goes up to Rs 5.70 lakh for the CNG version. All prices are ex-showroom. It has a claimed fuel efficiency of 24.60km/l for the petrol unit and 34.46km/kg for the S-CNG unit.
The commercial hatchback measures 3,530mm in length, 1,490mm in width, and 1,520mm in height. It has a 2,380mm long wheelbase and a fuel capacity of 27 litres (petrol). The S-CNG model, on the other hand, can hold up to 55 litres of fuel.
Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 Tour H1: Safety Features
For safety, the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 Tour H1 gets dual airbags, an anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), front seatbelts with pre-tensioner and force limiter, seatbelt reminder for all passengers, a speed limiting system, engine immobiliser, and reverse parking sensors.

Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 Tour H1: Design
The Tour H1 is based on the new generation Alto K10 and, therefore, looks similar to the Alto K10 in terms of design. It gets a massive grille with a honeycomb-patterned design, raised bonnet, halogen headlights with integrated turn signals, and unpainted front and rear bumpers. The hatchback sits on steel wheels without steel covers.
This new Alto K10 Tour H1 is available with a choice of three colour options – Metallic Silky Silver, Metallic Granite Grey, and Arctic White.
Other notable features include an infotainment system with a touchscreen panel, power windows, central locking, USB ports, a tilt-adjustable steering wheel, and more. Overall, the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 Tour H1 offers a nice blend of safety, convenience, and comfort.
Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 Tour H1: Drivetrain
The Maruti Suzuki Tour H1, based on the popular Alto K10, gets two powertrain options. When running on a 1.0-litre K-series Dual VVT petrol engine, the Tour H1 vehicle churns out 66bhp of power output at 5,500rpm and 89Nm of peak torque at 3,500rpm. With CNG, the engine cranks out 56bhp at 5,300rpm and 82.1Nm at 3,400rpm. It gets a 5-speed manual gearbox.

In petrol mode, the taxi version of the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 returns a fuel efficiency of 24.60km/l. The CNG version, on the other hand, offers 34.46km/kg.

Moreover, Maruti Suzuki is preparing to add a new hybrid MPV to its growing model line-up in India. Dubbed the Engage, the upcoming car is based around the Toyota Innova Hycross. The premium offering is a product of the collaboration between Maruti Suzuki and Toyota, and owing to its premium stature, the Engage MPV will be the most expensive and largest car in Maruti Suzuki's model range. It will go on sale on July 5 this year and is expected to be priced between Rs 25.20 lakh and Rs 30.20 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Maruti Suzuki Engage, which is a rebadged version of the popular Innova Hycross, will be available via Maruti Suzuki's Nexa chain of dealerships.
