In order to cater to a diverse customer base, Maruti Suzuki has introduced the Dream Series limited-edition versions of its three Arena models – the Alto K10 VXi+, S-Presso VXi, and Celerio LXi. Priced at Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the exclusive Dream Series range will be soon available at Arena showrooms, although for the month of June 2024. At their price, the Dream Series models will be offered only with their respective manual gearboxes.
Over the top-spec Alto K10 VXi+, which is priced at Rs 5.35 lakh (ex-showroom), the Dream Series model adds a security system and a reverse parking camera. Plus, those purchasing this model will get discounts on dealer level accessories. Opt for the Dream Series version of the S-Presso VXi and you will gain a reverse parking camera, a security system, a pair of speakers, an interior styling kit, black cladding on the wheel arches, and body side moulding. Additionally, the S-Presso VXi Dream Series – which is based on the mid-spec S-Presso VXi – gets skid plates (front, rear, and side), chrome garnish for the grille and rear door, as well as a frame for the number plate.

As for the Celerio LXi Dream Series which is based on the entry-level Celerio LXi, Maruti Suzuki offers a Pioneer multimedia stereo, a reverse parking camera, and a pair of speakers. Maruti Suzuki AMTs Prices Slashed
In other news, to speed up the adoption of its automatic models, Maruti Suzuki slashed the prices of its AGS (Auto Gear Shift) range by Rs 5,000. The models under this price revision include the Alto K10, S-Presso, Celerio, Wagon R, Swift, Dzire, Ignis, Fronx, and the Baleno. However, the manual versions remain untouched. The move comes amidst growing demand for automatic transmission vehicles in India. In the AGS lineup, the Alto K10 VXi is the most affordable model, carrying a revised price tag of Rs 5.51 lakh (ex-showroom).

Over the past year, Maruti Suzuki sold nearly 1.32 lakh AGS vehicles. Post the price revision, it targets a growth of 15-20 per cent in the current financial year. 'We want more and more customers at the entry-level also to upgrade to the automatic variants,' said Banerjee.
