Maruti launches Alto K10 automatic at Rs 3.80 lakhs

Maruti Suzuki India Limited launched the next generation Alto K10 starting at Rs 3.06 lakhs, ex-showroom Delhi. This popular hatchback is also available in Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) at Rs 3.80 lakhs, making it the most affordable automatic car in the country. According to Maruti, Alto K10 delivers a fuel efficiency of 24.07 km/l, an improvement of 15 per cent over the outgoing model. In addition, the newly added CNG trim powered by the Intelligent Gas Port Injection (iGPI) delivers mileage of 32.26 kilometers per kg in CNG mode. The car is powered by a three-cylinder, 1.0-litre K10 engine producing 67bhp and 90Nm of torque. The Alto is available in either a five-speed manual or a five-speed AMT.

The Alto K10 looks a lot more youthful with the wide horizontal lines on the hood, stylish swept back headlamps, sporty bumper and a dash of chrome on the grille. The Alto's cabin is more roomy as the headroom is increased by 15mm and the width is now 1490mm, 15mm more than the previous model.The legroom for rear passengers has also improved as the back of the front seats is scooped out.
The new Alto gets new features like the all new centre console on the dashboard has a Piano black finish with silver accents, in-built music system comes standard with Aux-in and USB ports, internally adjustable ORVMs, a tachometer and front power windows.

The Auto Gear Shift with impressive fuel efficiency is another big technology advantage. The wider range of the Alto K10 comes with 6 variants including a CNG option and will strengthen Maruti Suzuki’s entry level range and get incremental numbers.”
