Mahindra has revealed one of the many first-in-segment features of the XUV700. The ‘Auto Booster Headlamp’ system will enhance safety by allowing the driver to see better in poorly lit conditions.
It has been confirmed that the all-new Mahindra XUV700 will debut in Q3 of 2021. The company has already launched a dedicated website for the upcoming SUV for interested buyers. And now Mahindra has revealed one of the features of the upcoming XUV700. The SUV will debut with an ‘Auto Booster Headlamp’ system, which is governed by the velocity of the vehicle. The moment the SUV exceeds the 80km/hr mark, additional bulbs in the headlamp cluster will come to life, allowing the driver better visibility of the road ahead.
The XUV700 is expected to have many first-in-segment features and is likely to be positioned in the Rs 16 – 24 lakh (ex-showroom) range depending on the variants on offer. It would mainly fill in the space between the Mahindra XUV500 and the Alturas G4. Currently, the Mahindra XUV500 is priced between Rs 14.19 and 20.03 lakh (ex-showroom), and the Mahindra Alturas G4 between Rs 28.73 and 31.73 lakh (ex-showroom).
The XUV700 is based on a monocoque chassis derived from an all-new platform. The engine options will include both petrol and diesel units, both of which will be offered with an optional automatic gearbox. Mahindra has also confirmed that the XUV700 will be available with an all-wheel-drive system.
