Good news for XUV500 fans and potential buyers, Mahindra & Mahindra launched a limited Xclusive Edition and it is priced at Rs 14.48 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai). The Xclusive Edition comes with new features like electric sunroof, reverse camera and voice messaging system.M&M have also revealed that there will only be 700 units of this special edition.
At the launch, Mahindra & Mahindra Chief Marketing Officer, Automotive Division, Vivek Nayer explained that the company has decided to roll out the Xclusive Edition because a lot of customers wanted these additional features in the XUV500. "The XUV500 Xclusive Edition will create a new benchmark in premiumness and exclusivity, to further enhance the XUV500's appeal amongst its customers and fans," said Nayer. "The XUV500 Xclusive Edition will be available on the W8 model of the XUV500 and the company would produce only 700 vehicles of this limited edition," he added.
The Mahindra XUV500 Xclusive edition continues to be powered by the 2179cc mHawk engine that has an output of 140PS and 330Nm of torque.It also retains features like cruise control, automatic climate control with dual HVAC, 6-inch touch-screen infotainment system, smart rain & light sensors and tyre pressure monitoring system.In terms of safety, it is equipped with six airbags, electronic stability program, ABS with EBD, Hill hold and descent control.
