Mahindra, a homegrown major automotive firm, has made the XUV400 EV more feature-loaded by offering a few new amenities with the higher-spec EL variant. After the revision of the feature list, the top-spec model’s prices range between Rs 19.19 lakh and 19.39 lakh (ex-showroom). The automaker has not officially announced anything, but a facelift model of the XUV400 is expected to go on sale sometime in 2025. Industry reports indicate that with the generational update, the e-SUV might ditch the single-pane sunroof for the panoramic one. In terms of the engine and other mechanical aspects, there has been no change. Let's take a closer look at all the new features that the electric SUV comes with.

Mahindra XUV400 EV: Updated Features
The equipment list of the EL variant has grown with the inclusion of new features, such as a tyre pressure monitoring system, fog lamps, an electronic stability program (ESP), a boot lamp, cruise control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, hill-hold assist, and a pair of tweeters with the 4-speaker audio system.
Mahindra XUV400 EV: Powertrain
The XUV400 EV has one electric motor and two battery pack options. The electric motor generates 150bhp and 310Nm of power. The EL model offers a larger 39.4kWh battery, offering an MIDC-claimed range of 456 kilometres, while the EC model gets a smaller 34.5kWh battery and an MIDC-claimed driving range of 375 kilometres.

Mahindra XUV400 EV: Price
In our market, the top-spec variant's extra features came at a small price premium of Rs 20,000. The EL versions cost between Rs 19.19 lakh and Rs 19.39 lakh, while the standard EC variant is priced between Rs 15.99 lakh and Rs 16.49 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.
