The Mahindra XUV 3XO has two turbo-petrol and one diesel engine options, while the Brezza is available with a single 1.5-litre petrol engine (103bhp/137Nm) with mild hybrid technology. The 1.2-litre mStallion TCMPFi and mStallion-TGDi engines in the XUV 3XO produce 110bhp/200Nm and 129bhp/230Nm, respectively. The 1.5-litre turbodiesel unit, on the other hand, generates 115bhp/300Nm. While all engines have a manual transmission as standard, diesel models offer the option of an automatic six-speed manual. The turbo-petrol variants are also now available with an Aisin six-speed torque converter.
Meanwhile, the Brezza (petrol version) provides a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission as choices. It also comes with a CNG option, unlike its Mahindra counterpart.
