Mahindra has confirmed the availability of AdrenoX connected car tech in the XUV 3XO with a new teaser on social media. The technology will allow customers to operate the climate control system through a smartphone. In addition, users will also be able to adjust the cooling duration and turn on the front and rear defrost features. For those unaware, the AdrenoX Connected Car Technology first appeared in the XUV700 SUV in 2021. This is not the first time Mahindra has teased the XUV 3XO ahead of its launch in India on April 29. The SUV, a facelift of the XUV300 with a new name, has a panoramic sunroof (first in its class), a fresh colour scheme, and inverted C-shaped LED DRLs, based on previous teasers. While more details about the SUV will be revealed closer to its launch, let's take a look at some of its potential features.
Mahindra XUV 3XO: Interior and Features
In terms of the interior, the car will likely feature a new steering wheel, a wireless phone charger, ventilated front seats, a Harman Kardon music system, a larger free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, and a new centre console with a reworked gear lever. The SUV is also expected to come with a Level 2 ADAS suite, an electronic parking brake, six airbags, and a 360-degree camera for safety.
Mahindra XUV 3XO: Engine
The XUV 3XO is expected to inherit the engine setup of the XUV300, which comprises a 1.5-litre diesel motor (115bhp and 300Nm), a 1.2-litre direct injection turbo-petrol unit (128bhp and 250Nm), and a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol mill (108bhp and 200Nm). There are two transmission options: 6-speed AutoShift AMT and 6-speed manual.
Mahindra XUV 3XO: Market Availability and Competitors
The Mahindra XUV 3XO is set to go on sale in India on April 29, 2024. The SUV may retail at a starting price of Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom).
