Mahindra XEV 9e Pack Three Variant Launched in India at Rs 30.50 Lakh

The Mahindra XEV 9e offers two battery options (a 59kWh and a 79kWh), and a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) configuration to suit different performance needs.

After over a month of revealing prices for the Pack One configuration, Mahindra has now announced the price of the fully loaded Pack Three variant of the XEV 9e. The high-end Pack Three model of the XEV 9e, equipped with a 79kWh battery, is priced at Rs 30.90 lakh (ex-showroom). This price does not include the cost of a home charger, which must be purchased separately. The XEV 9e is offered in three variants: Pack One, Pack Two, and Pack Three.

The Pack One is priced at Rs 21.90 lakh, while the pricing for the Pack Two has yet to be revealed. Mahindra is set to open bookings for the higher-spec XEV 9e on February 14, 2025. Phased test drives will kick off on January 14, 2025, while deliveries for the top-spec model are expected to start in March 2025. As for the colours, the XEV 9e comes with options like Desert Myst, Tango Red, and Everest White.

Mahindra XEV 9e: Powertrain

The XEV 9e offers two battery choices (a 59kWh and a 79kWh), and a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) configuration to suit varying performance preferences. The 59kWh battery is mated to a 227bhp electric motor, while the larger 79kWh option is equipped with a more powerful 282bhp motor. The top-spec variant comes with a 79kWh battery, offering a certified range of 656 kilometres.

The XEV 9e boasts a coupe-like design, angular triangular headlights, a broad full-width LED DRL, and unique inverted L-shaped taillights. An illuminated Infinity logo by Mahindra adds a premium touch. The bumpers boast a clean, sporty design, and the car rides on standard 19-inch wheels with an optional upgrade to 20-inch aerodynamic alloy ones in a dual-tone finish. At the rear, the sleek roofline flows seamlessly into the tailgate, accentuated by a shark fin antenna and a subtle roof spoiler, contributing to the vehicle's dynamic and athletic profile.

Inside, the XEV 9e offers a minimalistic and luxurious vibe. There is a two-spoke steering wheel adorned with an illuminated Infinity logo and a sophisticated layered dashboard. The center console shows a seamless combination of functionality and elegance, housing the driving mode controls, gear shifter, two cupholders, and wireless charging pads. Its design flows seamlessly into the front armrest, delivering a clean, streamlined aesthetic. At the heart of the dashboard, is a stunning triple-screen setup. Mahindra has equipped the XEV 9e with an array of comfort features, like a multi-zone AC, a 1400-watt Harman Kardon audio system with 16 speakers, a panoramic glass roof with integrated lighting elements, and an augmented reality (AR) heads-up display.

On the safety front, the car has 7 airbags as standard, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), an electronic parking brake, ISOFIX child seat mounts, a 360-degree camera, and a Level 2 ADAS. The XEV 9e is also equipped with a Park assist feature.
