Mahindra is working on an XUV700-based EV, which according to the most recent trademark filing, is expected to be called the ‘XEV 7e’. The production version of this EV has been spotted online, revealing both its exterior and interior. As seen in the images, the new XEV 7e has a conventional SUV shape, as opposed to the XEV 9e's more coupe-inspired look. It sports a split headlight design with inverted L-shaped linked LED DRLs, similar to the XEV 9e. However, a significant distinction is that the XUV700-based e-SUV includes third-row seats, unlike the XEV 9e.
The XEV 7e also features a blanked-out grille, slim LED light bars, robust new skid plates, contrast-coloured ORVMs (outside rearview mirrors), flush-fitting door handles, and new dual-tone alloy wheels, all of which contribute to the vehicle's premium, contemporary appearance.
Mahindra XEV 7e: Interior and Features
The XEV 7e’s interior looks similar to that of the Mahindra XEV 9e, featuring a stylish dual-tone black and white theme. The centre console is highlighted by a piano black trim, lending a premium feel. The dashboard is dominated by a striking triple-screen configuration, likely consisting of 12.3-inch displays for the driver’s instrument cluster, infotainment system, and the passenger’s display.

Furthermore, there is a possibility that Mahindra may offer an all-wheel-drive (AWD) variant of the XEV 7e.
