Luxury Edition Kits add more features and decorative elements to the TUV300.
Mahindra has introduced new Luxury Edition Kits for the TUV300 compact SUV. Available in two versions, these kits add additional features and design accents to the vehicle.
First up, there’s Luxury Edition Kit 1, which includes faux leather seat covers, beige steering wheel cover and 6.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation and reverse camera. On the outside, the kit adds chrome accents to the number plate area, ORVMs, lower front grille and door handles.
Then there’s Kit 2, which adds even more features on top of the first kit. These include a heads-up display, glossy black roof with bonnet stripes, chrome finish on windows & tail lamps and floor mats.
Prices for either kit have not yet been specified, but those who are interested can contact Mahindra dealerships directly for further information. Since these kits are officially sold, they come with a warranty and ensure that the original car warranty also remains in place.
The TUV is powered by a 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder diesel engine that generates 100bhp of max power and 240Nm of peak torque. The engine is either paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed AMT.
The TUV300 is based on a body on frame construction, which gives it a more rugged appeal as compared to its unibody competition like the Tata Nexon, Maruti Vitara Brezza and Ford EcoSport. However, the TUV still has struggled to match the sales numbers of its rivals.
