While the new Mahindra Thar Roxx is a direct competitor to off-road vehicles such as the Maruti Suzuki Jimny and the Force Gurkha 5-door, it serves as a powerful and premium alternative to compact SUVs in India, including the Creta. The two monikers belong to different segments but have a strong market foothold. The Thar was only available in our market in the 3-door avatar. With the Thar Roxx, the model has gained a new identity with more features and a striking design. Here's how the new 5-door SUV from Mahindra stacks up against the mid-size segment leading Creta on various factors.
