Mahindra has revealed ARAI-certified fuel efficiency figures for its 5-door off-road SUV, the Thar Roxx. The 5-door SUV gets two engine options – a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 2.2-litre diesel engine – both of which are offered with a choice between a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
The turbo-petrol engine, rated for 175bhp and 380Nm, powers the following variants: MX1, MX5, MX3, and AX7 L. The MX1 is available only with the manual gearbox, while the automatic gearbox is exclusively reserved for the last two variants. The MX5 is the only petrol variant with manual and automatic gearbox options. The Thar Roxx with the turbo-petrol engine offers a mileage (ARAI) of 12.40km/l.
