Mahindra officially reported that the country will receive the new Thar 5-door next year. The Thar's 5-door variant was assumed to go on sale in 2023, according to some previous market reports. However, Rajesh Jejurikar, Mahindra's Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer (Auto and Farm Sector), officially stated that the firm has no plans to launch the SUV in India this year. He confirmed by saying that the five-door model will go on sale in CY24. As mentioned above, the SUV is anticipated to come with a price tag that ranges between Rs 15 lakh to Rs 18 lakh. Both are ex-showroom figures.
