In contrast to the all-black dashboard of the present 3-door model, the 5-door Thar is expected to have a dual-tone brown and black colour scheme, which most likely extends to the upholstery. This modification mimics the 5-door model's more family-friendly functionality and offers the possibility of changing the cabin colour scheme. There were familiar features like the rounded air vents, the grab handle on the passenger side, and the metallic badge below the left air vent—all of which reinforced the Thar's widely-recognised interior design philosophy.

A 10.25-inch touchscreen replaces the 3-door model's 7-inch display, offering a notable improvement in infotainment display space. Mahindra's updated user interface is compatible with the larger screen. Additionally, it is expected that the five-door Thar will get a new instrument panel in addition to features like a new front armrest, roof-mounted speakers, dual-zone climate control, rear AC vents, wireless charger, and cruise control.

As far as the safety features are concerned, the model is expected to come equipped with a reversing camera, electronic stability control (ESC), six airbags, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
