Starting at Rs 9.99 lakh lakh, the Mahindra Marazzo has been launched in 4 variants
Mahindra has finally launched their new MPV - Marazzo at a starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh lakh. Launched in 4 variants, the top-spec trim carries a sticker price of Rs 13.90 lakh. All prices introductory and ex-showroom Pan India.
Initially known by its code name U321, Mahindra officially announced the Marazzo name a few weeks back. The MPV gets its design inspiration from a shark - and hence the name Marazzo. The MPV has been designed in close association with Italian design house Pininfarina. Up front the Marazzo gets the typically Mahindra grille shark tooth inspired. On both sides of the grille, the Marazzo comes fitted with projector headlamps. The tail lamps are inspired from the tail of a shark too.
Based on an all-new platform, the Marazzo has the largest footprint of all its products. Available in seven and eight seat layouts, the latter has been fitted with a bench seat in the second row. This bench seat has a 40:20:40 split. To keep the passengers in the second and the third row cool, Mahindra had fitted the Marazzo with a roof-mounted air-conditioner. At the front, the dashboard is dual-tone with piano black finish and a large touchscreen infotainment system taking he centre stage. The Mahindra Marazzo comes with a long list of features including, automatic climate control, leather upholstery, tyre pressure monitoring system and more.
At the heart the Marazzo comes with a 1.5-litre Diesel heart that is good for 121bhp and 300Nm. All of this torque gets delivered as low as 1,600rpm. Mahindra has only launched the Marazzo with a diesel motor and a 6-speed manual transmission. The company said that they will bring in a gasoline variant and an automatic post the BSVI norms come into effect in 2020.
