Mahindra’s new Marazzo is a well-priced product that makes a strong case for itself, the addition of another convenience feature gives it more brownie points on paper.
The launch of the Mahindra Marazzo took care of a rather vital gap in the MPV / MUV market space. For its price list ranging from Rs. 9.99 lakh to Rs. 13.90 lakh (ex-showroom), plugs a rather evident gap between the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Toyota Innova Crysta. Making it quite an interesting proposition for those looking for a comfortable seven-seat family hauler. For those out there who fit the bill, Mahindra has now made the package that much more appealing by announcing a software update for the infotainment system of the Marazzo that will now give it Apple CarPlay connectivity. Expect all new units of course to come with the update from the shop floor itself.
Right from its launch, the Marazzo was offered with Android Auto but now Apple users too can make use of voice commands, SMS read out, synchronizing phone contacts and call lists on the infotainment system. In addition, Apple Car Play will of course make it easier for iPhone users to access phone calls, music and make it possible to use Siri search whilst facilitating the use of the simpler CarPlay touchscreen interface.
“With the introduction of Apple CarPlay, the Marazzo becomes even more desirable for customers who wish to stay connected. The inclusion of Apple CarPlay bolsters Marazzo’s already-strong suite of connectivity features that include Android Auto, GPS-enabled Navigation, Mahindra’s Bluesense App and Emergency Call function.” said, Veejay Nakra, Chief of Sales and Marketing – Automotive Division, Mahindra.
Coming back to the vehicle itself, we were quite impressed by the Marazzo as a spacious, comfortable and easy to drive seven-seater MUV. You can read our full review here - Mahindra Marazzo Review: First Drive
